As farmers gear up to hit the ground running…

Leading local Australian manufacturer, Brookfield Agriculture, will be hitting a field day near you in the coming months in NSW, SA and WA as farmers gear up to hit the ground running. The events will be perfect timing for those looking for innovative ideas and machinery in the lead up to a productive end to the year.

According to Brookfield Agriculture Sales and Marketing Coordinator, Amber Atkins, the upcoming field days are excellent timing with the June edition of the Agricultural Commodities Report just released shining a bright light on production prospects.

“Despite the rather wet start to the year, the outlook for agriculture looks positive,” Amber outlined. “Here at Brookfield, we are quietly confident. We are looking to spread our confidence, share some helpful information and update farmers on our ever-expanding machinery range at events throughout NSW, SA and WA over the next few months.

“According to the Ag Commodities Report, we are looking at the second highest value of agricultural production on record with a forecast $80.4 billion and the highest value of agricultural exports on record at $64.9 billion.

“Predicted favourable Australian conditions and very high world food prices will all play a part. A poor world production outlook, war and trade restrictions are all increasing pressure on commodity prices.”

Outlook forecasts good news for Australian farmers!

The general good news on the ground out of the report is that seasonal conditions are predicted to continue to see strong production across most Australian agricultural areas. Amber explained high commodity prices are also tipped to continue into the end of 2022.

“The combination of high prices and strong production should keep us moving into the end of the year with confidence,” Amber outlined. “Unfortunately, there is no end in sight for struggles with supply chain disruptions which will remain a key concern for most industries.

“This continues to be the time for ‘Australian Made’ products to step up and keep the industry going. Every Brookfield product is licenced ‘Australian Made’ and the business has continually striven to support farmers nationally through high quality and innovative products.

“We continue our commitment to the development of engineering locally and our investment in research, development and innovation. We have always been, and will continue to be, Australian farmers engineering and fabricating for Australian farming conditions.

“Our solid long-term relationships with suppliers along the chain ensure we consistently deliver superior quality Australian made farm machinery.”
