Secure Your Season – The BROOKFIELD® Forward Order Program is NOW on!

Forward thinking farmers are gearing up now to secure their orders with guaranteed delivery for 2024 via the BROOKFIELD® Forward Order Program.

Managing Director at Active Group Pty Ltd, Craig Wallace, explained the Forward Order Program was designed to beat the ongoing price rises driven by increasing world demand across all materials including steel, hydraulics, wheels, protective coatings and more.

Available across the full BROOKFIELD® range, the Forward Order Program guarantees delivery between November 2024 and April 2025 for orders taken before the 1st July 2024.

“There are limited build spots available under the program so now is the ideal time to get orders in,” Craig outlined. “Nobody wants to be caught short with equipment that barely limped into the shed after the last use.

“We’ve also been talking to farmers who have learnt the hard lessons dealt out over the past few years. It makes sense that many want to do something different to try to make a change to their farming systems.

“We are urging them to take the opportunity now to think about changes to their machinery and equipment requirements into the future.”

Thinking it’s time for a change?

Farming systems supporting the widely varying seasons and addressing production and supply issues experienced will be required to take farming into a new era according to Craig.

“Farmers have been hit with issues surrounding both dry and wet seasons in recent years along with a host of other production hurdles concerning chemical resistance and labour supply issues,” Craig outlined.

“It’s not surprising they are looking for a better way forward. We’ve been working alongside farmers for some time as they moved away from traditional cropping practices and into reduced till and regenerative operations.

“We’ve worked hard to solve the associated production issues, reduce chemical use, build organic matter, reduce soil erosion, improve yields, and solidify overall profit margins.

“Throughout this process we have evolved our machinery and our philosophy to develop a next generation approach – the BROOKFIELD Seasonal System.”

BROOKFIELD Seasonal Approach in five simple steps…

The five simple steps to making a significant change in your farming system with Brookfield include…

  1. Harvest – The BROOKFIELD® OmniBin is the ultimate on-farm multipurpose tool. At harvest time its safe and simple operation ensures your grain can quickly be delivered to the silo during harvest.

  1. Post-Harvest – If there is leftover stubble, a BROOKFIELD® Knuckle Chain will flatten and crimp stubble, leaving it mostly attached, starting the breakdown process, and encouraging weed germination.

  1. Summer Stubble/Weed Management – The BROOKFIELD® ChainBar with Disc Chain is used with summer rains to work over the stubble, mulching it into the top 30mm or so of soil and giving a high weed-kill as well. The solution is in the steeling.

  1. Pre-Sowing – If a further weed-kill is required, a DiscChain can be strategicallyused again – sometimes incorporating chemical or fertiliser. This system retains moisture to the maximum, builds up organic matter and stirs up microbial activity.

  1. At Sowing – The BROOKFIELD® OmniBin streamlines your seeding operation by efficiently handling both seed and fertiliser without contamination.

The Brookfield® range is designed and manufactured here in Australia, for Australian farming conditions.
