- LESS SOIL DISTURBANCE – The BROOKFIELD® ChainBar fitted with a combination of the Continuous Cutting Edge Disc Chains and Knuckle Chain only cultivates within the top few centimetres of the soil – gentling ripping weeds out soil-free. In comparison, chemical kill rates stand at only 70 to 80 percent. The ChainBar is also half the cost to run than an application of chemical.
- MECHANICAL WEED CONTROL FOR CHEMICAL RESISTANCE – BROOKFIELD® ChainBars can assist in the battle against chemical resistant weeds. An early summer pass with a ChainBar fitted with the Continuous Cutting Edge Disc Chain will encourage weeds to germinate early so they can be removed with another pass before seeding, allowing for weed-free seeding and no outlay for chemicals.

The ChainBar is easy to use with a simple and fast hydraulic fold on multiple remotes allowing for 100 percent functionality from the cab, tool-less chain tensioning and height adjustments, and a cross-over pull eliminating the need for a centre gang.
Designed to reduce downtime and maintenance, the ChainBar is built to last with a robust reinforced frame allowing each ChainBar to carry the most aggressive chain, heavy duty swivel bearings with a protective shroud, and a high-quality powder coated finish.

Six highly versatile chaining options catering to all soil types and functions are available in the robust BROOKFIELD® ChainBar range. With the ability to add or remove weight quickly in the paddock, the quality chains can be used for zero, minimum and even maximum tillage applications.
Options include Prickle Chain, Dog Leg Chain, DC60 Rigid Flex, the Continuous Cutting Edge Range (CCE – CD5 and LD6) and Knuckle Chain. The ChainBar is available in working widths from 4m to 18.5m featuring a 45-degree working width. Narrow disc spacing achieves complete cut out for the full width of the ChainBar.
